Why did you reduce your shipping costs?
Great question! From the beginning, we charged a flat rate shipping & handling fee ($10.95) for using USPS Domestic Priority Mail, and higher for international orders. Though this worked well for our ability to get your book out fast, it was expensive for both you and us. Our biggest challenge with sending out your order is our business is 25 miles one way from the nearest post office. So that we might get your order out quickly, we used Priority Mail to enable the mail carrier to pick up your order from our mailbox. Our mailbox is 7 miles round trip from our office, so it is not always easy to even get it there! To reduce your shipping costs, we decided to offer an alternative...
How will orders be handled now?
Our new shipping policy is intended to save you money, which is really what we're all about. Instead of charging you $10.95, we will charge a more reasonable $5.95. We go to town at least once each week, so we have begun to use USPS Media Mail to ship all our material. Please understand this may delay your shipment by a few days, but it will get there! There is a potential downside to using this method. Click here to read this before choosing USPS Media Mail. If you are in a hurry, you can still select USPS Priority Mail when you purchase our material and go through the shopping cart checkout. Unfortunately, this new shipping price does not include international orders. International orders are still charged at the higher rate... and we apologize for that. Please note that you can reduce your costs even further by purchasing the digital version of our books. Once the order is placed, we will email the book directly to you... saving you shipping and handling plus it is a bit less expensive than the printed version.
